As we continue our celebration of Alwgrip’s 50th anniversary, we also celebrate the people that make Awlgrip such an amazing product line. Which brings us to Bob Lalonde. Bob is passionate about paint, which explains his lengthy and ongoing tenure with Awlgrip. His technical expertise with Awlgrip’s topcoat products is beyond impressive. As the Technical Service Coordinator at Alwgrip’s Yacht Paint Application Center (YPAC) in Cocoa Beach, Florida, he has trained thousands of applicators on how to properly apply Awlgrip products. In this interview Bob explains what YPAC is all about and why technical training on these products is so important to continue to make Awlgrip the industry leading topcoat.
