Awl®Coat TPC is a single component, waterbased coating that dries to form a tough, protective film - that can be easily removed upon build completion or delivery. Awl-Coat TPC has been designed to provide excellent temporary protection against a wide range of contaminants such as dust, oil, grease, fly rust and overspray. The product will guard against
most types of damage to Awlgrip products during transit, assembly and installation.
Due to the nature of the very tough, continuous film, Awl-Coat TPC is ideal where temporary measures are required to protect the new paint job, e.g. in production environments. Once removed the material can be compacted by hand to minimize volume of waste disposal.
Prior to full scale application, Awlgrip recommends a test patch is carried out to ensure the film properties and product behaviour meet your needs. Consult product datasheet for full details.
