PRESENTING AWLGRIP HDT – THE NEXT GENERATION OF YACHT FINISHES

The yacht industry is changing. Yachts are now bigger, expectations are higher and finishes have to withstand tougher challenges – that’s why we developed Awlgrip HDT, our new single-stage topcoat designed to take polyurethanes to the next level. Awlgrip HDT is formulated to meet the evolving needs of the industry, combining repairability and greater durability with a new color platform.

By listening to painters, applicators and boatyards, we were able to deliver properties such as repairability, excellent hold-up and the potential for a two-coat application, leading to an even better finish.

Following the launch of Awlgrip HDT, it has received the prestigious Innovation Award in the Boat Maintenance category at IBEX (International Boatbuilders Expo) 2019, in recognition of its cutting-edge performance and application characteristics.
